Tree Removal

There are many reasons to remove a tree, disease, insect damage, tree has become hazardous, etc.

However in most cases, a proper pruning of the tree can help to preserve a mature tree for many years to come. Large dead branches can be removed, long heavy branches can be shortened and lightened up, the crown can be thinned, allowing for more light to filter through the canopy.

There are several warning signs that it may be time to remove a potentially hazardous tree. Mushrooms or fruiting bodies on the tree itself or on the ground around the base of the tree are signs that the tree or part of the tree has become rotten. Sections of missing bark on branches or the main stem of the tree are warning signs, also splits or cracks in the tree indicate weakness in a branch, or branch union.

Please fell free to contact us with any questions, we can assess your tree for you to decide if it may need to come down or whether we can utilize some of our preservation techniques.
